LOWEST RATES
VISA & Mastercard rates are called "Interchange Rate". V/MC bottom line COST rate is 1.54% on Qualified cards (normal credit cards)...PERIOD. However, depending on the Bank that provides the processor service, those rates go slightly up.
For example: we represent 3 processors. One gives us cost at 1.59, another charges us 1.62, and another charges us 1.64!
WHAT DO WE CHARGE YOU?
We simply add .05 BP (Basis Points) to .20 BP to the Interchange Rate!
WE PROCESS MOST OF OUR CLIENTS AS "COST PLUS"
This means instead of "Tiered Pricing" (where you pay different rates depending on the type of card your customer used), we write you as COST PLUS. This mean that you are paying 1.59% PLUS .10 (for example) or a total of 1.69% across the board on ALL of the cards you accept!
BEWARE OF DECEPTIVE ADS!
Many companies advertise crazy (impossible) rates like 1% or 1.3%.....that is a SCAM! BEWARE! Where they GET YOU is on your "non-qualified" cards like Rewards cards (etc) where you end up paying 2.5% to 4.0%! BOTTOM LINE: Take your statement and divide the amount of your total months processing by the amount YOU were charged!
